Our Mission
I have practiced my trade as a profesional jeweller and silversmith here in the heart of brighton since 2003. In 2014 Barnaby Simpson Joined the team bringing his own unique creative angle to the workshop and then in 2017 Graduate Pierpaolo Belfiore joined us for an internship and has happily stayed on.
As part of my business I have taught Jewellery evening classes for many years and have always enjoyed the relaxed environment and fun to be had helping people make pieces of jewellery that go beyond their expectations.
North Laine Jewellery School is located in the heart of Brightons North Laines, with a 5 minute walk from the nearest train station (Brighton Station) and bus stop and a 10 minute walk to the city centre, North Laine Jewellery School is truly in the middle of everything. It is surrounded by many cafes, supermarkets and shops and located near some of Brightons greatest sight seeing spots, there are many things around to keep you busy on breaks.
We have set up North Laine Jewellery School because we saw that we had the oportunity to create something unique in Brighton. There are many shops in and around the town that sell jewellery, however there is nowhere that teaches you how to make the jewellery. We want to create a relaxed environment where we can give students a new opportunity to learn and be creative.
