Service Description

Pierpaolo will guide you through some of the basics in jewellery making and introduce you to the tools and equipment in the workshop. You will have the opportunity to make some simple pieces of jewellery and develop your skills to try out some more complicated designs including some gem set pieces. If you are new to jewellery making, your tutor will begin by showing you how to make a simple silver ring – using techniques such as piercing, filing, soldering and polishing. We will provide the silver for this project. Once you have completed your ring, you will need to buy the metal for your next project; your tutor will guide you through this and show you the best places to buy silver. You can also work in non-precious metals such as copper or brass.
